3 Things I wish I Knew Before I Got Married
I used to think I had my stuff together. Then I got married.
Marriage is greatbut it rocked everything I knew. I quickly realized my basic goal in life, prior to getting married, was to simply remain undisturbed.
This 'disruption' came suddenly and was disguised as a 5-foot-nothing Swedish-Filipino woman. When I decided I'd rather not live without her, I proceeded to ask her to marry methat is, to officially invite someone who wasn't me to be in my personal space for the rest of my life.
This decision introduced my most significant experiences and most challenging experiencesnone of which I would trade for the world.
However, I wish I'd had a bit more insight on the front end of our marriage to help me navigate it all.
According to most research, more than 50 percent of people who say 'I do' will not be sleeping in the same bed eight years from now. And though Scripture alludes to the fact that adultery and abuse may be reasons individuals might end a marriage, I'd be willing to bet that most challenges experienced in marriage are the result of unawareness.
Most peoplemyself includedjump into marriage with suitcases full of misconceptions and bad theology, entirely unaware of the unique beauty and paradoxical intentions of marriage.Although happiness is often a very real byproduct of a healthy relationship, marriage has a far more significant purpose in sight.
The following are three thoughts on marriage that friends and mentors have shared with me. I remind myself of them often in hopes of keeping this anomaly called marriage both enjoyable and healthy.
1. Marriage is not about living happily ever after.
Here's the truth: I get annoyed at my wife. But this is more a reflection of me than her.
I'm intensely certain that nothing in life has ever made me more angry, frustrated or annoyed than my wife. Inevitably, just when I think I've given all I can possibly give, she somehow finds a way to ask for more.
The worst part of it all is that her demands aren't unreasonable. One day she expects me to stay emotionally engaged. The next, she's looking for me to validate the way that she feels. The list goes onbut never ventures far from things she perfectly well deserves as a wife.
Unfortunately for her, deserving or not, her needs often compete with my self-focus. I know it shouldn't be this way, but I am selfish and stubborn and, overall, human.
I once read a book that alluded to the idea that marriage is the fire of lifethat somehow it's designed to refine all our dysfunction and spur us into progressive wholeness. In this light, contrary to popular opinion, the goal of marriage is not happiness. And although happiness is often a very real byproduct of a healthy relationship, marriage has a far more significant purpose in sight. It is designed to pull dysfunction to the surface of our lives, set it on fire and help us grow.
When we're willing to see it this way, then the points of friction in our marriages quickly become gifts that consistently invite us into a more whole and fulfilling experience of life.
2. The more you give to marriage, the more it gives back.
Over the past year, a few friends and I have had an open conversation about the highs and lows of marriagespecifically how to make the most of the high times and avoid the low ones. Along the way, we happened upon a derailing hypothesis that goes something like this: If one makes their husband or wife priority number one, all other areas of life benefit
It's a disorienting claim. Disorienting, because it protests my deeper persuasion that success as an entrepreneur, or any professional, requires that career takes the throne of my priorities and remain there for, at the very least, a couple of years.
However, seeing that my recent pattern of caring about work over marriage had produced little more than paying bills and a miserable wife, I figured giving the philosophy a test drive couldn't hurt.
For 31 days, I intentionally put my wife first over everything else, and then I tracked how it worked. I created a metric for these purposes, to mark our relationship as priority, and then my effectiveness in all other areas of my life on the same scale, including career productivity and general quality of life.
To my surprise, a month later, I had a chart of data and a handful of ironic experiences to prove that the more you give to marriage, the more it gives back.
Notably, on the days my wife genuinely felt valued, I observed her advocating for me to invest deeply in to my work. She no longer saw our relationship and my career pursuits as competitors for my attention, and as she partnered with me in my career, I have experienced the benefits of having the closest person in my life champion me.
Of course, marriage requires sacrifice. And sometimes it will feel as if it takes and takes. However, when we return marriage to its rightful place in our priorities, it can quickly turn from something we have to maintain and sacrifice for into the greatest asset to every other layer of our lives.
3. Marriage can change the world.
John Medina, the author of Brain Rules and a Christian biologist, is often approached by men looking for the silver bullet of fathering. In one way or another, they all come around to asking, 'What's the most important thing I can do as a father?'
Medina's answer alludes to a surprising truth.
In my previously mentioned experiment, I measured the effect that making my marriage priority number one had on different areas of my life. One of those areas was my 16-month-old son's behavior.
What I found in simply charting my observations was that the majority of the time, my child's behavior was directly affected by the level of intention I invested in my marriage.
Re-enter John Medina, the Christian biologist. After years of biological research and several books on parenting conclusions, what is his answer to the question, 'What's the most important thing I can do as a father'?
'Go home and love your wife.'
Gary Ezzo and Robert Bucknam, the authors of Babywise, say it this way: 'A healthy marriage creates an infused stability within the family and a haven of security for a child in their development process.' They go on to sum up their years of research by saying, 'In the end, great marriages produce great parents.'
The point is that marriage has a higher goal than to make two people happy or even whole. Yes, the investment we make into our marriage pays dividends for us. But, concluded by Medina and his colleagues, the same investment also has significant implications for our family, our community and eventually our culture.
So men, women, the next time you find yourself dreaming about living significantly or succeeding in your career or being a better parent than yours were to you, do the world a favor: Go home and love your wife. Go home and and love your husband.

Shocking Photos of 1,300 Syrians gassed to de*th in their beds

More
gruesome images have been released showing the aftermath of the de*dly
chemical weapons unleashed on Damascus suburb of Syria's Ain Tarma,
where about 1,300 innocent Syrians were gassed in their beds.
The attack left the streets deserted and makeshift morgues piled high with bodies of innocent women, men and children while those who survived the attack are fighting for their lives in makeshift hospitals.
The attackers used rockets to release fatal fumes over the suburb in the early hours on wednesday morning, as people slept in their homes.
The Syrian president has denied being behind the attack as protests against it erupted in other parts of the world.
What I don't understand is why the rest of the world is folding its hands while thousands of innocent people are being slaughtered in Syria.

would be crossing a 'red line'
"We have been very clear to the Assad regime, but also to other
players on the ground, that a red line for us is [if] we start seeing a
whole bunch of chemical weapons moving around or being utilized." -

"How I Almost Lost My Life" –Actress Ngozi Nwosu
For Nollywood actress, Ngozi Nwosu, life begins at 50. Having been to
what she calls "hell and back", the fair-skinned entertainer may have
finally conquered the storm. Bubbling in a celebratory mood, Nwosu was
resplendent in a black body fitting dress and blonde weave at an event
organised to celebrate her birthday on Wednesday.
Save for a walking stick placed by her side, there was nothing to suggest that the actress recently underwent a surgery. For many years:
She brought laughter to many homes, playing, “Peaceful Peace”, one of the troublesome wives of Chief Fuji in the Amaka Igwe’s soap, Fuji House of Commotion, until she was diagnosed to have a kidney related ailment.
Nevertheless, Ngozi Nwosu said she remained upbeat throughout the ordeal. “I was positive throughout the experience but at a point I thought I would die and not make it to 50. But I have received the grace of God, and He has given me a new lease of life. It is like a second coming to life. God has given me my life, it is a gift I really treasure. And my advice to people is: just live your life, nobody knows tomorrow,” she said.
Unlike some of her colleagues who passed on before financial assistance could arrive, Nwosu has been lucky. Fans, colleagues and the Lagos State Government succeeded in raising the N6m lifeline required to offset her medical expenses in a UK hospital in December. But before respite came, the Imo State-born actress chose to keep mum about the true state of her health, which gave rise to a series of speculations.
Her silence was because she wanted to handle the situation on her own. She explained to Punch, “I felt it was something I could handle on my own. So, it was as if I turned a deaf ear, thinking and praying that it would be over soon; until God said, ‘No, my daughter, I will handle it the best way for you', and here I am today.”
Between February and April, she had been undergoing treatment in the UK. In past interviews, Nwosu, who has been out of the acting scene in the last two years, said she was initially diagnosed of pile (haemorrhoid), and had an operation. She had already resumed working until she discovered that she had developed some issues with her kidneys.
Choosing not to comment on her personal life, thick-skinned Nwosu said she couldn’t be bothered about the speculations at the time.
She, however, declined to give more details on the nature of the ailment and treatment abroad.
“They (critics) said so many crazy things but I don’t want to think about it. I just want to thank God that I am alive today. I also thank the critics because they have contributed to making me strong and alive to prove them wrong. To those who felt this was the end of Ngozi Nwosu, I just want to tell them that this is just the beginning of Ngozi Nwosu.”
She also discarded reports making the round that she had been sighted at various movie locations. She explained: “I have only gone on the set of Fuji House of Commotion because I played a major role there, because they had been waiting for me all along and had run out of episodes. So I just had to be there to play a little of my role. It is just to tell people that I am still alive and I will be back on track.”
While she admitted her readiness to take up new scripts, the key word for now, according to her, is moderation. “I still need to rest, and if I have to work, I’ll do that at my own pace. I’m not going back to work fully. You will see that my gait is not really smooth. For now, I’m using a walking stick and that is going to take some time. I will be taking everything at my own pace, until I get back to the normal Ngozi Nwosu,” she noted.
Sounding a word of advice to her colleagues in the movie industry, Nwosu said, “They should always take time out to do medical checkups. Since the time I got sick, there are many people that have dropped dead. But I am still alive, I went through death and I am still alive.”
On her relationship with fellow actors, she has this to say, “I don’t have friends in the industry. When you are rich they are your friends, but when you are not, they leave you. Most of them are a flash in the pan so I can’t keep them.”
Looking forward to the future with bright expectations, Nwosu is already dreaming big, hoping to regain national prominence. “I wish for myself the best things of life. In fact I just wish someone can come and park the latest car in my house, and build a house for me. I don’t want my case to be like that of the Nigerian flag designer, Taiwo Akinkunmi, who almost died before they recognised him,” she noted.

PHOTO OF THE DAY: Lions Cause Traffic Jam In Kruger National Park in South Africa
This isn't something you see every day, at least not here in Naija.
It is however, something that seems to be a relatively common occurrence if you're spending some time in Kruger National Park in South Africa. The park is one of Africa's leading game reserves and known for its up-close-and-personal encounters with wildlife.
On this particular day, park visitors made their way to the Crocodile River Gate exit and found not one but two massive lions having a seat right in the middle of the road, because why not, right?
Instagram user @clarkend snapped a photo of the likely alpha pair casually plopped down in the middle of
the road. Perhaps we are out of practice being so close to such large felines, but wouldn't one want to at least roll up their car windows, just in case? Maybe that's just us.
No going back on strike, ASUU insists
The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, yesterday in Lagos vowed again not to call off the ongoing strike unless the Federal Government respects the 2009 agreement.
The union stated this at a press conference at the University of
Lagos, Akoka, with many national officers in attendance. Addressing
journalists at the event, ASUU President, Dr. Nassir Isa, said the
lecturers would sustain the strike “for as long as it takes the Federal
Government to be faithful to the implementation of the 2009 agreement
and its renegotiation as contained in the memorandum of understanding
reached by both parties in January, last year.”
He said the way the Federal Government had so far taken the issue and others surrounding it did not show that the government was ready to address the problems confronting the university education, the concern of the striking lecturers.
Isa explained that the union met with the government’s representatives, including members of the Senate Committee on Education for 10 times, the last was held five days ago since the commencement of the 52-day-old strike, but each meeting was always in deadlock “because government is still not being sincere to address the issues at stake”.
He noted that the N30bn the Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, said the Federal Government had injected into the university education was not related to the 2009 agreement and the Universities’ Needs Assessment.
“The amount was part of the N92.8bn earned allowances owed the university workers and which, of course, they are entitled to.” The ASUU boss also noted out that the universities that were secretly conducting examinations, including post-UTME were doing so on their own perils as “lecturers are those in charge of conducting and marking of exams.”
While appealing to students, parents and other members of the public for understanding, the ASUU boss said the gains of the ongoing efforts by the union would soon benefit the education system and the country.
Also yesterday, the Bauchi zone of the union berated Okonjo-Iweala over comments that the Federal Government was incapacitated of meeting the N92bn being demanded by the union.
The union described the minister’s comments as embarrassing and uncoordinated, adding that ASUU’s stand, “if not addressed now, will hasten the decay in the education sector, which requires total revolution.”
The Zonal Coordinator, Dr. Usman Abubakar, at press conference in Bauchi, charged the Federal Government not to relent in the efforts to address the crisis brewing in the university system to save the future of the youths. Abubakar noted that the amount being demanded by ASUU was a debt owed by government.
He said: “We wish to inform the public that the said amount is a debt (not a demand) by the FG owed all staff of affected universities (both academic and non-academic) over a period of four years for which it has to pay, if it has to show signs of a responsible and honorable government.”
He said that the pronouncements by the minister were deliberate and calculated attempt to blackmail the union and confuse the public by attempting to “reduce the noble and patriotic cause that ASUU is struggling for to a mere payment of allowances.”
Abubakar said that the finance minister’s comments indicated that the government had no intention of honouring the agreement.
“How could the minister have made the claim of no money to honor the agreement when the finance ministry was represented throughout the negotiations for the 2009 ASUU/ FGN agreement and the MOU? Indeed, the representatives offered advice and contributions during these processes.
“What could be more dishonourable and deceitful by a government than this? “Equally devastating and shocking is the fact that negotiations that led to the MOU were led by no lower a personality than the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim.” he said
Abubakar added that rubbishing the document by the minister, which was signed in the presence of Anyim, clearly undermined the authority and powers of the SGF office and amounted to national embarrassment.
He noted that the minister’s statement was a clear pointer to the insensitivity, inconsistency and lack of seriousness of the government in addressing the problems of education and the plight of the Nigerian youth.
He, therefore, called on Nigerians to join ASUU in pressuring the government to live up to its national responsibility by honouring the agreement it entered with the union.
He said the way the Federal Government had so far taken the issue and others surrounding it did not show that the government was ready to address the problems confronting the university education, the concern of the striking lecturers.

Man Sets His Mother On Fire In Lagos (PICTURED)
The Police in Lagos, yesterday, said they were on the trail of a man who
allegedly burnt his 87-year-old mother to death in their Adekunle Yaba
residence in Lagos.
The fleeing assailant, 45-year-old Bamidele Bakare, was alleged to have set the building located on 16, Ishola Street ablaze in the early hours of Monday.
Eye witnesses said before the building was set ablaze, Bamidele evacuated his five children and property from one of the rooms he occupied.
While the building comprising eight rooms was on fire, occupants who were jolted from sleep reportedly scrambled out of their respective apartments for safety.
Two of them who attempted to rescue the octogenarian identified as Folorunsho Bakare who was fast asleep were reportedly prevented by Bamidele, whom they alleged threatened to set them ablaze too if they dared.
Elder brother to the alleged assailant, Mr Olu Bakare, who reportedly rushed down from Jos, the Plateau State capital where he resides, expressed shock that his sibling could send their mother to her grave in such manner.
He told Vanguard yesterday: “As if the death of our mother was not enough, my brother buried her charred remains without my consent.”
Bakare said the burnt building was owned by him, adding that things fell apart between him and his younger brother after the latter allegedly stole documents of some of his property located in Jos and Lagos.
Bakare said: “I took him to court and that was the beginning of his rift with me. I believe he set my mother on fire because of that. But what has that got to do with my 87-year-old mother?
“When I heard the news, I took the next available vehicle to Lagos. I reported the matter to the Adekunle Police division, from where the Divisional Crime Officer and Inspector Crime followed me to ascertain the claim.
“I was also asked to get two persons who saw when he was setting the building ablaze. I did and they attested to it.
“They said when they wanted to rescue my mother, Bamidele told them to leave her to die, saying after all, she was his mother and that he was capable of burying her. After setting the building ablaze, he disappeared with his children.”
However, police sources said efforts were on to arrest fleeing Bamidele.

'It Is My Baby, My Breast Can't Produce Milk - Cameroonian Lady Who Bought Nigerian 3-Day-Old Baby For N1.2m Claims
![]() |
Mrs Evelyn Atemkeng, the suspect and the baby |
Commander of the Cross River State Immigration Command, Mr Samuel Ichoi, who ordered the arrest of the woman said in his office that his men accosted the lady while boarding a ship to Cameroon and after interrogation, she confessed that she bought the baby..
He said: “The lady came from Cameron on Friday without any sign of pregnancy but this morning (Wednesday) she was found to be carrying a baby and when my men examined her there were no signs that she just gave birth, so she and the baby were apprehended.”
According to Igoche, the lady also claimed that in May last year, she was given some herbs at Okigwe where she “miraculously gave birth to a baby girl who is now in Cameroon.”
However, the lady who said she is a teacher in the North-West region of Cameron said that she gave birth to the baby and that N1.2 million she paid into the account of the matron was for delivery and herbs she gave to her to aid delivery.
She said: “She (matron) said my breast would start producing milk in three weeks but for now the baby is taking baby food.”
According to her, she does not have anybody in Cameroon to take care of her, that was why she came to
Nigeria to deliver before returning to her country.
“I am married and my husband is in Cameroon but there is nobody to take care of me in Cameroon, that was why I came to Nigeria to deliver,” she said.
The Anti Human Trafficking Officer of the Nigeria Immigration Service at the Calabar Port, Mrs Agbor Ojong Ogar, said she took time to examine the woman and she does not have any sign that she just gave birth.
She said: “The woman passed here on Friday, she left on Saturday and returned to Calabar on Tuesday and was heading back to Cameron with a baby and when we examined her she does not have any sign of having given birth recently.”
‘I WANT GOD TO BLESS ME WITH THE RIGHT MAN AND A GOOD FAMILY’ - Genevieve Nnaji Confesses
Born on May 3, 1979 into the family of Benedatte and Theophilus Nnaji, Genny, like I enjoy addressing her, hails from Umuebi – Amuzu in Aboh-Mbaise, Imo State. The fourth of her parents’ eight children, she attended Kemstar Nursery and Primary School, Surulere, Lagos; Methodist Girls High School, Lagos and Girls Secondary School, Akwakuma, Owerri, Imo State. Dazzling and delectable, sumptuous and sexy, sweet and svelte, she is unarguably and indisputably the reigning pride of Africa in the make-believe world.
One of our biggest and richest, the single mother of one (Lily) who has in her kitty some of the most coveted award trophies and to her credit some of the most lucrative endorsement deals poured it all out to AZUH ARINZE. Trust me; you will definitely enjoy this…
How does it feel to have risen this far within so short a time?
(Smiles) I’m trying to handle it as much as I can. It feels fulfilling. I feel I’m having the best of my time. I feel the Lord is with me. I feel I have been able to make an impact on people and I have a lot of fans and I’m enjoying my life. It feels good.
To what or whom do you owe all that?
God’s gift, talent, determination, pride…
What do you mean by pride? They say it goes before a fall. And now you are saying it is responsible for your success?
You have to have pride to be able to stand the crowd, you have to have pride to be able to stand the intimidation and arrogance of people. Especially people who feel you have to pay dues to get to where you are going. You have to have the pride and stamina to tell them boldly you know what you are doing; they didn’t bring you to the industry, you will leave when you want to and you leave because you want to.
Where do you want to ogennyr hope to be in the next 10 years?
In the next 10 years, I know I will be married with kids. But I think it all depends on what God has fashioned out for me. I know I will still be in the entertainment industry or the fashion world or whatever.
What do you like most about stardom because it appears you don’t want to tell us about your love life?
The fact that it opens doors for you is what I like most about it. You walk into a place and every other person is queuing up for one thing or the other, they just start to recognize you. Oh! come in, come in…It’s actually a door opener for us or for me. It has brought respect, especially when you do what you are doing well. What I hate most about it is the price that we get to pay for stardom – negative publicity, the untrue scandals; actually, the only thing I hate about it is the bad press.
What will you say is the worst story ever written about you in the press?
So many bad things. But the one I hated most was the one of Fred Amata and I, which I don’t know where they got it from. It hurt me so much. It was not just fair.
How do you feel anytime you read negative things about your person in the media?
Certainly, I don’t feel good--
What if the stories are true, but maybe you were not expecting it to be published?
It’s rarely been the truth. Maybe a bit of it, but that’s not how it happened. The press never tells the story the way it is. It’s usually a bit from here and a bit from there. For a very long time, they have not written anything true about me…
How did you come into the movie industry?
I have been acting since I was eight in Ripples. That was how I got into acting. For movies, I think that should be 1998 in Most Wanted. I met Torino (Emeka Ojukwu) in a bus and to my greatest surprise, he recognized me, from Ripples, when I was about eight, nine. He asked why I left the industry. He later invited me to this audition – Most Wanted. I got a role, a ‘waka-pass’ and that was it.
But the story we heard was that Kunle Coker brought you in and that both of you even dated?
Yes, Kunle Coker was actually my boyfriend. But he did not bring me into the industry.
They said he was heartbroken when you deserted him. What led to the collapse of your relationship?
Well, relationships come and go.
Is it true that you dumped him for Fred Amata?
Fred Amata? I’ve never had anything to do with Fred Amata. In Ripples, I used to call Fred Amata uncle. So, I don’t see the reason why I should date Fred Amata. Fred Amata and I are just friends. I don’t have anything to do with him.
Are you now saying that apart from Kunle Coker, you have not dated any other person in the industry?
I will not say that and I will not say anything on the contrary either. I don’t think it is your business. It’s my personal life.
What do you find most attractive in a man?
The fact that a man will take me for who I am, not for what he hears or what he believes. I like people who take me for the me they see. That’s the most important thing. And have regard for me. And trust too.
What do you think is the biggest mistake that men make with women?
Everyone makes mistakes. But to me, I will not tolerate any man who hits women. To me, that’s evil.
Do you believe in love at first sight?
I believe in infatuation at first sight. Love is a very strong feeling. It does not just come. People think infatuation is being in love. They are two different things. You don’t know anything yet until you get to meet the person and you begin to fall in love. Not just physically, but externally with the person.
Can you recollect the first time you fell in love?
Yes!
Tell us about it.
I think we met at a show. This was when I was in secondary school and we shared a lot of things in common – singing. It was a case of two compatible people who were so much in love with each other and…
(Interruption) So, what eventually happened?
Like I said, relationships must come and go. You can’t help everything that happens. Some things just happen for no reason.
What’s your definition of love?
Love has to be understanding, caring. Love, to me, is being with somebody for 24 hours without being bored. Love is catching your breath every time you see whoever you are in love with. Love is friendship, love is understanding and love is trust.
Do you believe in being faithful in a relationship?
Yeah! I’m very faithful.
Can you date a fan?
I’ve never dated a fan. And I don’t know if I can. But people come around to toast as per fans. But it’s a matter of nicely telling them off. There are different reasons why fans like or love artistes. So, it actually depends on why my fan loves me. It depends. Althogenevieve1[1]ugh, I don’t think it is advisable to date a fan. The reason being that people are in love with what they see on the screen, not the real you.
What’s your idea of a sensual treat?
Quiet time in a place surrounded by nature, water, trees…less talk, more of feelings, let the feelings show instead.
What part of a man’s body do you like most?
What kind of questions are these?
Must I answer that?
Okay, a man’s chest, from the belly up.
What part of your own body do you like most?
I guess it’s my eyes. I think I like my eyes.
What’s your greatest wish?
That God continues to bless me. Especially with the right man and a good family.
It’s like you are too eager to get married?
No, no, no. The thing is just that there comes a time in your life where everything is going fine. And all you say to yourself is after this, what next? After everything, you have to get married as far as you are a woman.
What’s your favourite colour?
Blue.
What are your hobbies?
Singing, dancing…
Let’s have your bio-data. People don’t seem to know much about you?
I’m from Aboh-Mbaise in Imo State. I went to Kemistar Nursery and Primary School, Surulere; Methodist Girls High School, followed by one in Ikeja. I kept on moving. But ended up at Girls Secondary School, Akwakuma in Owerri, Imo State.
Why have you not furthered your education?
Life is not the same for everybody. Some people are so lucky, they come out of secondary school and they go straight to university because they have the back-up of people and it’s so easy. It looks simple…mine was different. But I’m determined. Definitely, I’m gonna go back to school. I wanted to make money, I love my money, I cherish my own money. So, I will go back when I’ve made enough. But even while I’m there, I won’t stop working.
Tell us about your parents, what do they do?
My parents are there. My mum is a teacher and my dad is retired.
What was your dad into before his retirement?
He was a bank manager with African Continental Bank (ACB)…I’m the fourth of eight children, the third girl. We are four girls, four boys. I come from a very strong Christian family. And I think that has been able to have an effect on my life, especially since I came into the industry. You see, even when people go out to say all sorts, my mother knows the kind of daughter she has. She knows the limit that I can go.
She must have been devastated when you took in, in your teens?
Well, well…I think so.
What was your childhood like?
My childhood was fun. It was fun. You don’t get to get all that these days.
What’s the greatest complement that has ever come your way?
My complexion.
